We recommend refrigerating your cake up until 1-2 hours prior to serving – our cakes are shelf stable and can be left out of the fridge for up to 4 hours if need be.
Take your cake out of the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving, as cake is best eaten at room temperature, for optimal flavour and texture.

We make every effort to ensure our cakes are sturdily constructed, and professionally boxed for maximum security. However, when transporting your cake, care is still needed.
A cake is best transported on a flat, level surface – so a car seat is a big no-no as the cake will slide backwards; the best place for your cake will either be in a foot well or boot with the non slip mat provided. If these aren’t available options, then a passenger can carry the cake making sure to keep it level.
